The power of the internet…
I’ve been fortunate enough to be born in a generation that relies on this fabulous technology. The internet, a.k.a. the World Wide Web, a.k.a. the technology that allows me to purchase products ONLINE. Baby boomers are not very trusting of the idea of paying for something online with their credit cards and with reason. I guess It’s something to be wary of because of all the frauds and scammers out there, but nonetheless It’s probably the most genius innovations.
I sometimes like to think that I’m this incredibly busy woman with a million things on the go, and have come up with a non-exaustive list with reasons why online shopping is so advantageous for me:
1. Economizing time - everything on one page, no lineups, as easy as a click of a button
2. Money saver - there are always online deals and quite often free shipping
3. Uniqueness - since most are laggards or still freaked out about the e-shopping idea, I have the advantage of finding pieces not many are likely to own
4. Better deals (used) - I’ve recently bought many books on amazon.ca some used, and their actual condition is impeccable.
So to name a few, these are some of the reasons why I’ve come to appreciate online shopping. Mind you, there are always downsides (i.e. something not fitting perfectly, colour being off from what you expected), yet these very few downsides have been mitigated by the ups and so I will continue my online consumption habits.
